I have just read on the Formspring page of @ EinAugenschmaus following question:
now I vacillate between irritation and sarcasm, I must say ... somehow surprised me the view that someone be privileged due to lack of senses / physical capabilities should only be because he has found a way (find) had this to compensate irgendeiine Art. I am privileged because IPart # 1 Hah, I'm happy: to be privileged: thanks to cochlear implant hearing from-to hire and can (even the birds sing you can hear), but you complain about some missing subtitles in television broadcasts.
a wheelchair ever have my own chair with me just because runners are possibly need? Or is it a privilege to a pub not get in there or can not use the toilet because there it could be boring or filthy?
I have never seen my disability as a burden, it is simply a part of me and I am just among other reasons just as I am, but a privilege? No, definitely not.
It is a privilege for me to live today and not as in the Hitler time because there would not be able to speak live on, but something can not can not be a privilege?
I do not understand quite how you ever come on the train of thought and I probably should not just think about it ... I find it strange but still.
Or I should just change my approach? In the future, so think in everyday situations rather like this:
ramp from the bus broke -> privilege! It could sit in it jmd the smells terribly
local / business settings -> save money, okay hunger not satisfied / not pleasant evening had but it was certainly stupid eh
tram with settings -> oh yay, I can still stand and wait and watch the people and then get into a newer car if it also goes
of mobility service train password -> great, I may be longer at the station, fresh air! Or alternatively: Let me stay longer on the train than any other - it may be better than what? ;)
fight with the insurance wg tools -> oh well, I now know the legal texts really well
again that thrown on the ground because the spasticity especially plagues -> yay I'm doing something normal and who Dish needs already - and this extra movement, calories burned ...
pain -> oh, you are happy then so much more when they are away
bad eyes - I> do not see the faces of ugly people
And the areas in which I am privileged to be among the most, I simply let the table fall because if I change only the approach could all be a privilege:)
